Easter Island is semi-tropical, and year-round temperatures are generally pleasant year-round. The high season on Rapa Nui is the Southern Hemisphere summer – January to March. Winter can get a bit chilly, but average maximum temps are still around 72ºF (22ºC), and minimum temps are 57ºF (14ºC).
