Every year, one of our favorite traditions at Brownell is celebrating our top-producing advisors who reached (and exceeded) their sales goals the previous year with a fun trip! With over 80% of our community producing $1 million+ in sales in 2023, we decided to go all out with two award trips! On the first of the two award trips, advisors set sail aboard the luxurious EXPLORA I. The summer foray included a four-night itinerary along the Croatian coastline with a two-night pre-extension in Dubrovnik and a final day exploring the charming city of Venice. Join us as we share some of the highlights from the journey and the importance of investing in our community and partners.
Meticulously designed with cosmopolitan comfort, Explora Journeys’ first luxury ship, EXPLORA I, established itself in the industry since its inaugural sailing in 2023 as one of the best “floating hotels” out there. While several of our advisors have already had the pleasure of experiencing the unique itineraries and serene, spacious atmosphere Explora Journeys has to offer as a solo traveler, our group of top producers were able to see the high level of service and bespoke accommodations firsthand as a community. As much as we could gush about the ship, the itinerary was equally enchanting and allowed our advisors to pause from their busy schedules and enjoy some leisure time exploring the charming Croatian coastline. Beginning in the enchanting city of Dubrovnik, a few of our advisors started their trip on a relaxing boat tour through the cerulean waters of the Adriatic Sea and sampled the local fares of fresh-caught oysters before boarding the EXPLORA I. Setting sail on their journey, the group explored the historic gems of Split and Rovinj, each offering unique experiences. From exhilarating bike tours through charming villages to indulging in exquisite wine tastings and delectable food tours featuring UNESCO-designated cuisine, our advisors immersed themselves in the local culture. Their adventure culminated in the magical city of Venice, where they spent their time taking in the historic sites and enjoying sunset dinners along the canals. A truly unforgettable grand finale to an extraordinary trip!
In the midst of discovering the “Ocean State of Mind” philosophy that Explora Journeys has perfected and exploring the wonders of Croatia and beyond, the biggest takeaways from these award trips are the experiences, knowledge, and friendships that strengthen our Brownell community. While the purpose of these trips is to recognize and show our gratitude toward our advisors who have succeeded in their accomplishments, our advisors naturally become closer and exchange ideas through the shared experience. Brownell’s Chief Development Officer Kerry Dyer, who was also on the trip, had this to say regarding our award trips:
